The Geisha variety has stood for exceptional flavour profiles for years and regularly wins prizes in national and international competitions. Geisha coffees are particularly characterised by their tea-like character, pronounced floral notes and a delicate sweetness.
We are pleased to offer you the Geisha by Robinson Rozo from Hula, Colombia, a coffee that fulfils exactly these expectations of a Geisha.
The coffee itself was processed as natural. The coffee cherries are first sorted and fermented in bags for 36 hours. Afterwards, the coffee cherries dry exclusively in the so-called marquesina (a kind of greenhouse) for about 30 days.
Geisha fans? This is a coffee for you! Never tried a Geisha coffee before? Don't miss out on this extraordinary taste experience!
Robinson Rozo represents a young generation of coffee farmers who are already investing effort and time to produce special coffees. As is common in many Colombian coffee families, Robinson inherited part of his parents' farm to grow his own coffee.
On his finca El Vergel at 1920m, Robinson Rozo exclusively grows coffee of the Geisha variety, which thrives magnificently here due to the altitude and the microclimate. The result of this work can be seen not only in winning various competitions but also in the cup!
