    Description

A coffee to drink on the go! The flavour profile is very clear & typical of a washed coffee from Colombia. The Community Lot of San Sebastian is composed of the Colombian widely grown varieties Caturra, Castillo and Variedad Colombia and convinces in the cup with a lot of sweetness and a light, fruity acidity. More about coffee from Colombia here in the blog.

    Origin

The San Sebastian originates from the Cauca region, which only really became significant for the cultivation of Specialty Coffee in the past decades. After the decline of the FARC rebels, however, the region has gained massively in importance and made a name for itself for high-quality coffees. The importer Cofinet works here with the OCCICAFE cooperative, who work together to produce high quality coffee. The result can be seen in this coffee, which is a community lot from 30 micro farmers. The coffee cherries are processed by the farmers themselves and sorted by quality in the cupping lab. Coffees that score over 85 points end up in this lot.
