In a filter brew, Shyira appears bright, juicy, and elegant, with hints of ripe stone fruit, delicate citrus freshness, and a calm, tea-like structure. As an espresso, the coffee is somewhat denser, with red fruit, soft sweetness, and a clear, dry aftertaste. At 1,850 m above sea level, it is the highest known station in the country. Founded in 2017 and managed by Evariste Hagumimana, Shyira is part of the Muraho Trading Co. network, which specifically invests in seed programs, farmer support, and quality. Volcanic soils, frequent fog, cool nights, and a stable microclimate allow the cherries to ripen slowly. Export is via Dar es Salaam (Tanzania).
