  • A coffee, two perspectives. Although both roasters worked with the same beans, the result is a fascinating contrast:

    • Hoppenworth & Ploch highlights the fruity and floral notes. This roast is vibrant and shows a distinct acidity that emphasizes the character of the beans.
    • Sprout Coffee Roasters brings a slightly more developed interpretation. Here, sweet and balanced notes come to the forefront, accompanied by a subtly juicy texture.

This bundle invites you to experience the diversity of a coffee and taste the effect of two unique roasting approaches. It is an invitation to discover the nuances of balance, acidity, and sweetness for yourself.

    • Taste:
    • Process: Washed
    • Variety: Red Bourbon
    • Origin: Cyesha Station, Nyamasheke District, Western Province, Rwanda
    • Importer: Rehm & Co.

    Harvest: 02/24-06/24

  • This coffee tells the story of its origin and the people who have cultivated and processed it with passion. The washed Red Bourbon from the Cyesha Washing Station in Rwanda reflects the interplay of climate, soil, and careful processing. In May 2024, we traveled together with our long-term partners from Rehm & Co. and Sprout Coffee Roasters (Eindhoven) to the station. There, we selected this coffee and decided to release it with two unique roasts.
