La Primavera is a Pink Bourbon coffee built for clarity and precision. The processing is deliberately two-stage: After selective harvesting, the cherries are fermented anaerobically in the cherry for 24 hours, then pulped and fermented for another 24 hours in a tank. The coffee is then dried for 18 days under a Marquesina drying rack. The result is a filter coffee with floral smoothness, a juicy structure, and a very clean, long finish.
Finca La Primavera is located in Acevedo, Huila, and represents a generational shift within the Calderón family. Yeisson Calderón returned in 2021 after years in Bogotá to work with his father, Luis Aníbal, on exotic varieties while simultaneously building his own farm. La Primavera combines traditional family craftsmanship with a highly controlled and meticulous approach to processing.
Our coffees are traceable back to the farm. We work with importers who share our values and focus on responsible cultivation and fair partnerships – with regard to environmental, social, and economic aspects.
We always buy our coffee seasonally. Our range changes several times a month to always roast the freshest beans. We want each coffee to highlight the specificity of its terroir.
Roasting is a craft and that's how we practice it. Our roasting team around the German Roastmaster of 2018, Kilian Seger, invests a lot of time in profile development and quality control.
