Welcome to our Barista Course in Frankfurt!

Are you an ambitious (home) barista, dreaming of your own espresso machine, or already own one? Do you want to start your own gastronomy business, or are you simply interested in the art and diversity of coffee and its preparation? Then this Barista course is perfect for you! In a beautiful atmosphere, we’ll dive into the world of coffee together.

•  WHAT YOU WILL LEARN IN OUR BARISTA SEMINAR:

  • Basic Coffee Knowledge: Which coffee has the potential to be special and delicious and how to identify it.
  • Extraction Theory: Which components are responsible for a balanced flavor and how you can achieve the goal of creating a well-rounded coffee beverage.
  • The Brew Ratio Concept: Understanding the key levers in coffee preparation to create the optimal brewing ratio and flavor experience.
  • Sensory Perception: How to use your sense of taste to recognize extraction levels.
  • Milk Frothing and Latte Art: Of course, we’ll also cover the basics of milk frothing. An introduction to Latte Art is also included.
  • Equipment: Which barista tools and equipment are necessary for preparing bar-quality espresso at home.
  • Machine Maintenance and Cleaning: What you need to watch out for to maintain your machine’s quality and minimize wear and tear.

• Our Barista Course takes place at our roastery at Länderweg 21 in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen and lasts approximately 3 to 3½ hours. It is held in small groups. Courses are typically conducted in German, with selected dates available in English.

  If you are unable to attend a booked seminar, you are welcome to send a substitute. Please inform us briefly. From 14 days before the seminar start date, we can only refund 50% of the seminar price. If the seminar is fully booked again during this time, we will refund the full amount. Alternatively, you will receive a discount code of 50% (or 100% for full rebooking) for a new date.
